The Malawi Electoral Support Network (MESN) will be meeting with heads of media houses in Malawi.

The meeting will take place in Blantyre on Wednesday, 26 October, 2016, at Ryalls Hotel.

At the meeting, MESN is expected to present the agreed upon non-legislative electoral reforms which were signed by MEC and Political Parties under the Centre for Multiparty Democracy (CMD) in Lilongwe on 14 October, 2016.

So far, a number of media houses have confirmed that the heads of their media houses will attend the meeting or sent a representative.

The media houses that have confirmed to be in attendance include the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), Zodiak, Times, Nation Publications, Joy, YONECO, Nyasatimes, Malawi24 among others.
